Using Countera

Countera is a practice app for everyday money arithmetic. Countera for Android is free to use, with or without an account. It is provided as it is, and it may change as it is improved.

Your account

Signing in with Google creates a leaderboard account. You need to be at least 13 years old to create one. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you can delete it at any time, in the app or at countera.suryaelite.com/delete-account. Deletion is immediate.

Nicknames

Your nickname and colour are shown to other players. A nickname may not impersonate someone, include personal information such as a phone number, or be offensive, hateful or sexual. Some words are refused automatically. Nicknames can be changed once every 30 days.

We may reset a nickname or remove an account that breaks these rules, without notice.

Fair play

Your score, points and streak are worked out on your phone from your own practice and sent to the leaderboard as they are. Tampering with the app or its data to post figures you did not earn defeats the purpose of the app and is not allowed. We may remove figures that are plainly not real.

No warranty

Countera is a practice tool, not financial advice. We work to make its questions and answers correct, but we do not promise the app will be error free or always available, and the leaderboard may be unavailable at times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using Countera or from being unable to use it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page will show a new date. Continuing to use the leaderboard after a change means you accept the new terms.
