Countera does not collect any data about you.
Not your name, not your email, not your practice results, not analytics, not a device identifier. There is nothing to collect because nothing is ever sent anywhere. The Android app declares no permissions at all, including no internet permission. An Android application without that permission is technically incapable of making a network request. The app also contains no analytics library, no crash reporting service, no advertising software and no third party software development kits of any kind.
You do not have to take this on trust. Install the app, turn on aeroplane mode, and use it. Everything works, because nothing it does requires a connection.
Countera saves your practice history so that your score, your streak and your statistics survive closing the app. That includes:
All of it is written to a database file inside the app's own private storage on your device. It is not readable by other apps. It is never uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. We never see it, because there is no "us" for it to reach.
Uninstalling Countera deletes everything it stored, permanently. You can also clear it without uninstalling, through your device's app settings, under storage. There is no account to close and nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.
Countera is a practice tool for adults doing everyday money arithmetic. It is not directed at children, and since it collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.
Countera has no advertising, no trackers and no third party integrations. Nobody is paid for your attention and nobody receives your information.
If you install the app from Google Play, Google handles the download and any purchase, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that transaction. That is between you and Google, and it happens in the Play Store rather than inside Countera.
If a future version of Countera ever collects anything, this page will say so plainly and in advance, and the date at the top will change. An app that starts collecting data quietly has broken something more important than a policy.
Questions about this policy, or about the app, go to suryaelite@gmail.com.
